PerfectHygiene are delighted to partner with UCAN urological cancer charity on a fantastic new initiative. We have developed a unit to assist in the discreet disposal of male incontinence product waste. By providing these bins in clearly signposted cubicles we are helping to maintain the dignity of users with urological conditions. PerfectHygiene also seeks to raise awareness of the potentially life-saving services offered by UCAN and, at the same time, support them financially… For every unit that we place in premises, we will donate to UCAN.

UCAN’s goal is to fund a Urological Cancer Rapid Diagnostic Centre (RDC) at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The Rapid Diagnostic Centre aims to enable more patients with a suspected urological cancer to be seen quicker, and to have all of their scans and/or diagnostic procedures during a single visit to hospital. The RDC also aims to significantly reduce the time to diagnosis, which will improve cancer treatment outcomes and reduce anxiety for patients and their families across the North of Scotland.
